Job summary

Connect Hearing is seeking an experienced QP Audiologist or Audiometrist to join our New Lambton clinic (NSW) in a permanent full-time role from Monday to Friday. You will assess hearing loss, prescribe solutions, and deliver aural rehabilitation, building strong client relationships.

You'll work with Phonak and Unitron technology, enjoy professional development, and be part of a global leader in hearing care that offers a supportive, client-centred environment and opportunities to advance

Qualifications

University qualification in Audiology or TAFE qualification in Audiometry.
Full membership with AudA or ACAud (including HAASA) and a current QP number or eligibility.
Strong audiological knowledge and clinical skills.
Passion for delivering exceptional client care and achieving positive outcomes.
Well-developed communication, interpersonal, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and clinical excellence.
Ability to work collaboratively in a supportive team.
Confidence learning and using new technology and software.
Ability to build relationships with GPs and allied health professionals.

Responsibilities

Assess and diagnose hearing loss using audiometric testing.
Interpret and document assessment outcomes and refer to medical practitioners.
Recommend tailored hearing solutions including amplification and implantable devices.
Deliver aural rehabilitation programs and provide ongoing client support.
Provide counselling and information to clients and families as part of hearing care.
Support management of hearing/communication difficulties across age and disability groups.
Contribute to hearing conservation and noise management strategies.
Build long-term relationships and deliver an exceptional client experience.
