Job summary

Mediix Recruitment Pty Ltd. is seeking a full-time Physiotherapist to join a well-established private practice in Sydney's Inner West. You will assess and treat a wide range of MSK conditions and sports injuries, with a focus on patient education and personalised rehab plans.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team including massage therapists and an exercise physiologist to optimise patient outcomes. Australian work rights and current AHPRA registration are required.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist (general registration).
• Solid MSK assessment and treatment skills with confidence in hands-on techniques.
• Interest in sports injury rehab.
• Dry needling or acupuncture experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat a broad range of MSK conditions (back/neck/shoulder/hip/knee).
• Treat headaches and migraines with hands-on techniques and exercise.
• Manage sports injuries from first assessment to return-to-sport planning.
• Treat and advise on work-related injuries to help patients return to work.
• Build tailored stretching and exercise programs for patients to maintain between sessions.
• Collaborate with physiotherapists, massage therapists, and an exercise physiologist to support outcomes.

About The Role

A long-established physio practice in Sydney's Inner West is looking for a full time Physiotherapist to join its team. The clinic sees a genuine cross section of the community, from weekend sports players and competitive athletes to office workers and tradespeople with work-related injuries. If you like variety, and you value a practice that takes the time to explain each step of treatment to patients, this could suit you well.

The practice

• Independent private practice with a well-known local reputation
• A multidisciplinary setup, with physiotherapists, massage therapists and an exercise physiologist working under the one roof
• Patients ranging from recreational sports players to high level athletes
• A steady flow of work-related injuries, including office and construction workers
• Treatment tools include manual therapy, dry needling and acupuncture, joint mobilisation, and tailored stretching and exercise programs
• A focus on rapport and patient comfort, and a culture of keeping skills current through ongoing courses
• Accepts all major health funds, with online booking for patients

What Your Days Will Look Like

• Assessing and treating a broad range of MSK conditions, including back pain and sciatica, neck and shoulder pain, and hip and knee problems
• Treating headaches and migraines using hands-on techniques, dry needling and exercise
• Managing sports injuries from first assessment through to return to sport planning
• Treating and advising on work-related injuries, so patients get back to work safely
• Building tailored stretching and exercise programs patients can keep up between sessions
• Working alongside massage therapists and an exercise physiologist to support patient outcomes
