Job summary

Priceline Pharmacy Alice Springs is seeking a full-time Packing Team Lead to oversee daily packing operations, train staff, and ensure accuracy, compliance and timely service.

You will work closely with the Packing Pharmacist Manager to coordinate workflows, manage stock and DAAs, and support a collaborative team with strong leadership.

Qualifications

• This role requires a reliable, professional and motivated team member with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Certificate III in Community Pharmacy or equivalent experience is highly regarded.
• Previous dispensing or DAA packing experience is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support, train and guide the packing team to create a positive, collaborative environment.
• Oversee daily workflows and meet packing deadlines with accuracy, efficiency and compliance.
• Assist pharmacists in the packing area and prepare DAA packs with care and precision.
• Manage patient DAA accounts and coordinate administrative tasks and external communications.
• Order and receive dispensary stock and coordinate deliveries to ensure timely service.

About the Role

This is a full-time leadership role where you’ll help keep our packing operations running smoothly while supporting and guiding the team around you. Working closely with the Packing Pharmacist Manager, you’ll help coordinate the day-to-day workflow, maintain high standards of accuracy and compliance, and ensure our packing services are delivered efficiently and on time.

What You’ll Be Doing

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting, training and guiding the packing team, helping create a positive and collaborative environment where everyone can succeed.
• Overseeing daily workflows and help ensure packing deadlines are consistently met, while maintaining a strong focus on accuracy, efficiency, compliance and quality.
• Assist pharmacists within the packing area as required and, with training provided, prepare Dose Administration Aid (DAA) packs with a high level of care and precision.
• Managing and maintaining patient DAA accounts, coordinating administrative tasks and external communications.
• Ordering and receiving dispensary stock and coordinate deliveries to ensure our services are delivered accurately and on time.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organisation and time-management skills

• The confidence to take responsibility and support a team
• Previous pharmacy, administration, retail, healthcare or customer service experience (advantageous but not essential)
• Certificate III in Community Pharmacy (Dispensary stream) or equivalent experience (highly regarded but not required)
• Previous dispensing or DAA packing experience (highly regarded but not required)
