Job summary

Oaks Nelson Bay Lure Suites is actively seeking a proactive Handyperson to join our team on a full-time basis. You will be the go-to person for repairs, maintaining guest rooms and public areas, and supporting external contractors to ensure everything runs smoothly.

You will implement preventative maintenance, document daily tasks, and coordinate service schedules while adapting to a variety of shifts, including weekends, to help sustain a safe and welcoming environment for guests and staff.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience in building or property maintenance.
• Painting experience preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and ability to work independently.
• Flexible to weekend/public holiday shifts; good time management.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general repairs and maintenance across guest rooms, public areas, and facilities
• Oversee and support external contractors when required
• Implement and maintain the property’s preventative maintenance program
• Keep accurate records of daily tasks, maintenance requests, and service schedules
