The Grange Golf Club in Kembla Grange, NSW, seeks a motivated Apprentice Greenkeeper to begin a rewarding career in sports turf management. This full-time apprenticeship combines hands-on work with formal study toward a Certificate III in Sports Turf Management through TAFE NSW at Yallah.

You’ll learn modern course maintenance from experienced turf professionals and gain skills in course setup, irrigation, machinery operation and turf renovations, all while contributing to a well-regarded golf

Qualifications

• Demonstrates reliability, punctuality and a positive attitude.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Willing to learn and take feedback on site practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in golf course presentation and daily setup.
• Support turf health management and irrigation tasks.
• Participate in course preparation for competitions and events.
• Operate machinery safely and perform basic maintenance.
• Contribute to turf renovation and course improvement projects.
• Follow safe chemical handling and workplace safety protocols.
