Job summary

Newington College's Early Learning Centre (ELC) in NSW invites an endorsed Early Childhood Teacher to lead and join our dedicated ELC team. This full-time, permanent role commences January 2027, reporting to the Head of ELC.

The successful candidate will be a NESA accredited teacher with ACECQA approved degree, capable of planning pedagogical programs aligned with the EYLF, NQS and NSW Regulations, while fostering safe, engaging learning environments for 3- to 4-year-olds.

Qualifications

• ACECQA approved Early Childhood Teaching Degree.
• Current NESA accreditation and NSW Child Protection qualification.
• First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management training and Working with Children Check.
• Knowledge of EYLF, National Regulations and National Quality Standards.
• Reflective educator committed to ongoing learning.
• Passion for delivering exceptional educational programs.
• Knowledge of Reggio Emilia Approach and EYLF.
• Ability to use technology to enhance learning and teaching.
• Commitment to child safety and safe learning environments.
• Understanding of child protection responsibilities and reporting.
• Ability to recognise and report child safety concerns.
• Commitment to Newington College Child Safety Code of Conduct.
