Job summary

NEVALS PTY LTD in Loganholme, QLD 4129 is seeking a full-time Carpenter for residential and commercial projects. You will prepare materials, construct timber frameworks and install structural components and fittings, ensuring high-quality workmanship and collaboration within a small team.

The role requires a Certificate III in Carpentry, at least 1 year of carpentry experience, and a White Card. Applicants should be detail-oriented and capable of working independently or with others.

Qualifications

Certificate III in Carpentry is required.
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Carpenter.
Experience in timber framing, flooring, external cladding and installation of doors/windows/fittings.
White Card (Construction Induction Safety) is required.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Review plans and drawings to determine measurements and installation methods.
Plan and set out carpentry work, select timber and materials, and arrange orders.
Measure, cut and fit timber components and secure with nails/screws.
Build and install wall frames, panel systems and roof structures with accuracy.
Complete internal/external carpentry work including fascia boards, roof sheathing, wall cladding and door/window frames.
