Job summary

APM is seeking a Full Stack Developer to evolve Wellbeing Gateway, its global workforce health platform. You’ll design, build and support scalable digital products, transitioning knowledge from legacy systems while joining a cross-functional team.

You will work with Product and Development to deliver secure, extensible features, participate in Agile delivery and help shape architecture and coding standards across a modern Azure-focused stack with AWS legacy elements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial experience in full stack software development.
• Proficiency with React and modern front-end technologies.
• Strong server-side experience with Java and Node.js.
• Experience designing, building and consuming APIs and integrations.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
• Cloud development and deployment in Azure and/or AWS.
• Experience with GitHub and modern version control practices.
• Experience with automated testing, code reviews and software quality practices.
• Understanding of secure coding, maintainability and operational supportability.
• Clear communication and ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and deliver new functionality across Wellbeing Gateway.
• Build and maintain front-end, back-end, API, integration and data-layer components.
• Independently own complex features from design through release and production support.
• Collaborate with Product and Development to break down requirements and assess options.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and governance discussions.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and development standards.
• Write secure, maintainable, well-documented code and tests.
• Create deployment materials, runbooks and technical documentation.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, cloud services and monitoring.
• Investigate defects and address root causes and technical debt.
• Share knowledge with other developers and stakeholders.
