Job summary

Citadel Edge Pty Ltd is seeking a Full Stack Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable web applications across front-end and back-end. You will collaborate with the architecture and integration leads to deliver secure, high-performance solutions using AWS, .NET, and modern frontend tech.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and maintaining scalable web applications.
• Experience with AWS cloud-native environments.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Fargate/ECS).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Octopus Deploy).
• Automated front-end testing (Jasmine, Karma, Mocha).
• Exposure to automated integration testing with Selenium.
• Knowledge of Redis for caching.
• NV2 Security Clearance or eligibility to obtain.

Reporting to the Product Architecture Lead / Integration Lead, the Full Stack Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications across the front and back end. You will work closely with the team to deliver high-quality solutions, ensuring performance and security.

What’s The Role?

• Develop and maintain responsive web applications using HTML5 and CSS3.
• Build and enhance enterprise software solutions using .NET Framework/Core, ASP.NET MVC, C#, and ASP.NET Web API.
• Design and implement robust, scalable, and high-performing applications in cloud-native environments, specifically AWS.
• Ensure software quality through unit testing, CI/CD pipelines, source control management, and code reviews.
• Utilise MySQL and SQL Server for database development and optimisation.
• Apply software engineering best practices (e.g., SOLID principles, loose coupling/high cohesion, common design patterns) to drive high-quality development.
• Advocate for and embed best practices in software engineering across the business.
• Develop and maintain UI components using Bootstrap or similar design frameworks.
• Manage source control and versioning using Git.
• Work within an Agile development environment, using Jira and Confluence for task management and documentation.

What’s Your Edge?

• NV2 Security Clearance or eligibility to obtain.
• Tertiary qualifications in Software Development or a related field or equivalent experience in industry/discipline.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture techniques, including service bus, message passing, work queuing, and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with containerization - docker, Fargate/ECS.
• Experience with Jenkins and Octopus Deploy.
• Automated unit testing in front end development (e.g., Jasmin, Karma, Mocha).
• Exposure to automated integration testing with Selenium.
• Exposure to Micro Front End architecture.
• Knowledge of Redis for caching and data storage optimisation.
