Job summary

Talent International is seeking an experienced Full Stack Azure Developer (Backend Focused) in Melbourne to design, build, and support scalable cloud-native applications.

You will work on APIs, backend services, and data integrations within a modern Azure environment, contributing to secure, automated cloud platforms and participating in Agile practices.

Qualifications

• Experience building scalable .NET Core/C# backend APIs and microservices.
• Hands-on with Azure services including Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid.
• Proficient in Python for automation and data processing.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and IaC (Terraform/Bicep/ARM).
• Strong SQL Server and cloud data platform knowledge.
• Familiarity with TDD and modern software practices.
• Knowledge of Clean Architecture or DDD is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable .NET Core/C# APIs and microservices.
• Build and maintain cloud-native integrations with Azure Integration Services.
• Develop data orchestration using Azure Data Factory, Databricks and Synapse.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and YAML.
• Deploy and manage Azure infrastructure with IaC tools (Terraform/Bicep/ARM).
• Implement monitoring and logging with Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
• Apply secure development practices including Key Vault and secrets management.
• Collaborate in an Agile environment with code reviews and testing.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Azure Developer (Backend Focused) to design, build, and support scalable cloud-native applications and integration solutions within a modern Microsoft Azure environment. You’ll play a key role in developing high-performance APIs, backend services, and data integrations while contributing to a secure, automated, and high-performing cloud platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable .NET Core/C# APIs, microservices, and backend frameworks.
• Build and maintain cloud-native integrations using Azure Integration Services, including Logic Apps, Service Bus, and Event Grid.
• Develop and support data orchestration solutions using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure Synapse.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and YAML.
• Deploy and manage Azure infrastructure using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
• Apply secure development practices, including Azure Key Vault for secrets management.
• Contribute to solution design, code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement within an Agile environment.

Skills & Experience

• Strong commercial experience with .NET Core/C# backend development and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure services including Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Azure Databricks.
• Solid Python skills for automation and data processing.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep/ARM).
• Strong understanding of SQL Server and cloud data platforms.
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and modern software engineering practices.
• Knowledge of Clean Architecture or Domain-Driven Design (DDD) is highly regarded.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams.
