Job summary

Woolworths Group is seeking a Department Manager for the Fruit & Veg section in Australia. You will lead a dedicated team, ensure high-quality produce, and maintain engaging displays to help customers find what they need.

You will work closely with store leadership to foster a safe, collaborative, and customer-centric environment, supporting career development and store goals through the Store Leadership Pathway.

Department Managers are responsible for end to end leadership of their department, fostering a connected, flexible and high performing team committed to serving our customers and communities.

As a leader who cares, you will play a key role in the day-to-day functions of the department while working closely with the store leadership team and team members to ensure we provide our customers with a great shopping experience and our team with a great place to work.

What you'll do

As a Fruit & Veg Manager at Woolworths Supermarkets your eye for detail, planning and routines will help to ensure the department has good quality fruit and vegetables, displays are full and customers can find what they need. You will be responsible for fostering a team that ensures temperature, quality, time & care is embedded everyday. You will also play a role in our sustainability commitment to reduce food waste.
