Job summary

EBR Ever Better Recruitment is seeking a skilled Front End Developer in Brisbane to design and deliver a complete front end application that meets sprint goals. You will contribute to the AngularJS project and work in a cross-functional Scrum team.

With 5+ years in web development, you should be proficient in TypeScript, JavaScript, SQL/ORM, and familiar with Spring Boot/Spring Cloud. You will own features, push for quality, and stay current with emerging technologies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years proven commercial experience in web development.
• Excellent knowledge of Angular 7 practices.
• Familiarity with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
• Knowledge of SQL and ORM technologies.
• Excellent knowledge of Typescript and Javascript.
• Familiarity with modern web frameworks such as React, Angular or Vue desirable.
• Knowledge of software development, micro-service and message bus design considerations and patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop a complete front end application to implement the goals of the sprint.
• Deliver value to our business partners.
• Contribute to the design and development of our front end AngularJS application.
• Take ownership of the product, contribute improvement and innovation ideas.
• Contribute to best practice testing across unit, integration and end to end tests.
• Attention to detail for the look and polish of web applications.
• Work within a cross functional Scrum team. Participate in all Scrum ceremonies such as planning, estimating and retrospectives. Contribute to the continuous improvement of team processes.
• Participate in support and deployment activities as required.
• Perform other reasonable and relevant activities as requested from time to time to meet operational requirements.
• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies.
