Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily Front Office operations including check-in, check-out, and guest service touchpoints.
  • Act as the hotel’s key leader-on-duty during rostered shifts.
  • Coaching, mentoring, and supporting Guest Service Agents.
  • Handle guest enquiries and issues with professionalism, care, and confidence.
  • Manage cash handling, nightly audit checks, and operational reporting.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and polished Part-Time Front Office Assistant Manager to support the smooth and sophisticated operation of our Front Office team. This hands‑on leadership position is perfect for an individual who thrives in a luxury hotel environment and delights in elevating every guest interaction.

Reporting directly to the 'Rooms Division Manager', you will oversee daily front desk operations, guide, inspire and support the team, resolve guest challenges with confidence, and ensure all service standards are delivered with precision. Flexibility across weekends and evenings is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily Front Office operations including check-in, check-out, and guest service touchpoints
  • Act as the hotel’s key leader-on-duty during rostered shifts
  • Coaching, mentoring, and supporting Guest Service Agents
  • Handle guest enquiries and issues with professionalism, care, and confidence
  • Ensure brand, grooming, and luxury service standards are consistently exceeded
  • Manage cash handling, nightly audit checks, and operational reporting
  • Strengthen communication across hotel departments for seamless guest experiences
  • Uphold all safety, security, and compliance procedures
About You:
  • Experience in a Front Office supervisory, assistant manager, or duty manager role within a 5-star hotel
  • A calm, confident, and guest-focused leadership style
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to multitask within a fast-paced luxury environment
  • Strong understanding of front office operations and standards
  • Experience with Opera / Opera Cloud highly regarded
