Job summary

Best Practice Software in Australia is seeking a Front End Developer to build React/TypeScript interfaces for patient-facing online bookings and mobile apps. You’ll work with UX Designers, Product Owners, QA and Clinical Safety Advisors.

You’ll ship features via Docker, Azure Pipelines, and monitor performance. The role emphasizes accessibility, testing, and collaboration in a healthcare tech setting.

Qualifications

• Commercial front-end development experience, typically three years or more.
• Strong React with TypeScript. You’re comfortable with hooks, component composition, and state management
• Node.js tooling: builds, packaging, and dependency management
• Experience in consuming REST APIs, and handling loading, error and empty states properly
• Automated unit testing and CI/CD as everyday habits

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain React components in TypeScript, with the Node.js tooling around them.
• Work from UX designs, and push back when something won’t hold up for someone using it for the first time
• Handle live updates in the client through SignalR, and consume the back-end APIs behind them
