SMS Personnel Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a reliable freight handler/dock hand to work 4pm onwards with 20-30 hours per week. You will lift, sort, and move freight in a fast-paced environment across Melbourne.

No prior experience required; must be able to work 5 days. Duties include picking, sorting, loading/unloading, and scanning while maintaining safety and accuracy.

• Able to work well in a team and adapt to shifts.
• Willing to work 4pm onwards across 5 days.

Responsabilidades

• Picking and sorting freight into designated areas by suburbs and postcodes.
• Assisting in manual breakdown of freight.
• Assisting loading/unloading stock onto conveyors.
• Assisting in put away, country, point and breakdown tasks.
• Scanning items and ensuring accurate tracking.

About the company:

Industry leading freight distributor servicing Tasmania, Vic country and MetroMelbourne, NSW and SA with parcel, skid and pallet freight.

We are looking for a reliable freight handler/dock hand who can work short 4 hour shifts starting 4pm Monday-Friday. Must be physically fit as you are predominantly lifting boxes of freight to and from conveyor belts and stacking cages.

Key responsibilities:

• Picking and sorting freight into designated areas(suburbs,postcodes)
• Assisting in the manual breakdown of freight
• Assisting loading/unloading stock on to conveyor
• Assisting in other areas such as put away, country, point and breakdown
• Scanning

Requirements

Key requirements:

• Reliability - team mentality
• Physically fit as this is fast paced and there will be repetitive lifting up to 25kg
• Can work well in a team
