Job summary

Labourforce is recruiting for an All round Store / Freezer Forklift Operator in Yennora. The role includes forklift operation, stock putaways, picking/packing, and loading/unloading trucks in a cold storage warehouse. The candidate must have a current LF Forklift Licence and be physically fit for heavy lifting.

Shift pattern is Monday to Friday 8 AM–4 PM with potential overtime and weekend work as volume varies. Immediate start for suitable applicants.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current LF Forklift Licence.
• Previous experience on Toyota forklifts is advantageous.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar industry or role.
• Experience with High Reach Forklifts and putaways is a MUST.
• Moderate communication skills both written and verbally.
• Be physically fit as some roles involve heavy lifting.
• Have your OWN reliable transport.
• Be flexible with work hours; shift times may vary.
• RF Scanning experience preferred.

Job description

Our client, a Leader in the Cold Storage and Distribution industry currently have a vacant position available for a All round Store / Freezer Forklift Operator to join their team located in YENNORA.

if you are unable to work in Cold Temperature Environments please do not apply

Transport & Logistics sector, therefore previous experience within a fast paced working environment is essential.

Although you will be operating a Forklift this will also be a hands on role assisting with the day to day operations which will include picking / packing , loading and unloading trucks and assisting within the warehouse.

Shifts will initially run Monday to Friday 8 AM to 4 PM flexibility is required as there may be overtime and weekend work when needed and where volume changes the start times may vary.

IMMEDIATE START for the right applicants

Pay Rate will be $39.63 per hour plus applicable penalty rates (includes Cold Allowance) for AM shift.

• Operation of Forklifts- High Reach
• Operation of Counter Balance Forklifts and Electric Pallet Jacks

To be considered for this role, you MUST:
