Job summary

Labourforce seeks a Storeperson / Forklift Operator for Smithfield with 2+ years in warehousing. You will work in a -28 degree freezer, operate high-reach forklifts and pallet jacks, and perform picking, packing and loading tasks across day and afternoon shifts.

Must hold LF forklift licence, be reliable, physically fit, and have own transport. Immediate start with OT and allowances available.

Qualifications

• Hold a current LF Forklift Licence.
• Experience operating Crown High Reach forklifts.
• Double Deep warehouse experience (min 12 months).
• Minimum 2 years in a similar warehousing role.
• RF scanning experience preferred but not essential.
• Be physically fit and have own reliable transport.

Responsibilities

• Operation of Forklifts - High Reach in a cold environment.
• Stock rotation and replenishment in a -28°C freezer.
• Operate Electric Pallet Jacks where required.
• Stock handling: picking, packing and put-aways.
• Loading and unloading trucks; general warehousing duties.
• Ad hoc duties as required.

DAY & AFTERNOON SHIFT VACANCIES located in Smithfield.

Transport & Logistics sector, therefore previous experience within a fast-paced working environment is essential.
Although you will be operating a Forklift this will also be a hands-onrole assisting with the day-to-day operations which will include picking / packing, put away, replenishment, loading and unloading trucks and assisting within the warehouse.

IMMEDIATE START for the right applicants.

Morning shifts start times are5:30AM / $35 per hour OT + allowances.
Afternoon shifts start times are 1:30PM / $38.08 per hour + OT + allowances.

The role involves; but will not be limited to:

• Operation ofForklifts- High Reach

• Operation of Electric Pallet Jacks (where required)
• Highreach double deep experience is MUST (Minimum 12 months)
• Stock rotation and replenishment
• Picking and packing orders
• Usage of pallet wrapping machines
• Loading and Unloading Trucks
• General warehousing duties
• Ad hoc duties as required

To be considered for this role, youMUST:

• Be Physically fit as some roles will involve heavy lifting
• Have yourOWNreliable transport
• Be flexible with work hours shift times may vary
• Be reliable and punctual
• RF Scanning (preferred but not essential)
