Job summary

Kingfisher Bay Resort on K’gari (Fraser Island) is seeking a Housekeeping Team Leader for a permanent part-time, live-on-island opportunity. You will lead the housekeeping team, ensure rooms and public areas are presented to high standards, and support daily operations on the island paradise.

Bring proven leadership in housekeeping, strong organisational and communication skills, and a current Australian manual driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Housekeeping Team Leader or similar role.
• Previous hotel, resort or accommodation experience.
• Strong organisation and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and solve problems.
• Current Australian manual driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Housekeeping team during shifts.
• Monitor room presentation and cleanliness standards.
• Support day-to-day housekeeping operations, training and team coordination.
• Maintain safety, quality and operational standards.
