Job summary

CoreStaff is seeking motivated candidates for Frame and Truss Assembly – Day Shift (6am-2:30pm). Based in Wacol, you will join a safe, friendly manufacturing environment offering stable day-shift work and a competitive hourly rate.

Based in Brisbane, this role features a starting rate of $33.85 per hour plus penalties, with immediate onboarding and consistent work opportunities as described in the job listing.

Responsibilities

• Screw/nail timber frames and trusses per instruction.
• Stack trusses according to stacking lists.
• Assist with moving completed truss stacks to dispatch area.
• Keep the work area tidy and manage waste.
• Use proper manual handling techniques when lifting and moving trusses.
• Report faulty tools or equipment to the team leader.
• Assist with strapping stacked packs for dispatch as required.

We are looking for motivated candidates to join our team who are comfortable using power tools in a safe friendly environment. If you have experience in general labouring roles, have always had an interest in manufacturing & are looking for some stability this may be the job for you.

Frame and Truss Assembly - Day Shift - 6am-2.30pm

Based in Wacol, $33.85 per hour plus penalties

Key Responsibilities

• Screw/nail together timber frames and trusses as per instruction from truss setter and SOP.
• Stack trusses as per the stacking lists.
• Assist with moving completed truss stacks to dispatch area.
• Keep area tidy and clean, empty bins when full.
• Practice correct manual handling techniques when lifting and moving trusses.
• Report any faulty tools or equipment to the team leader.
• Assist with strapping stacked packs for dispatch as required.
