The Opportunity

This is a strong opportunity for an analytically minded FP&A Analyst to join a high performing finance team on an initial 6-month contract, created by an internal move. The role offers meaningful exposure to senior stakeholders, board level reporting and commercially focused financial analysis, with a clear pathway to permanency for the right candidate.

The position combines foundational accounting with a strong FP&A focus. While there is a small accounting component, the emphasis is firmly on high quality analysis, understanding performance drivers and producing accurate, well reconciled financial insights that support decision making. This role suits someone who enjoys working close to the numbers, improving the quality and robustness of analysis, and presenting clear, senior ready outputs in a fast paced environment.

The Role
Key responsibilities
  • Deliver detailed P&L analysis, including Volume, Price and Mix
  • Develop a deep understanding of underlying business performance drivers
  • Prepare high quality senior management and board level reporting packs
  • Build waterfall analysis and performance bridge reporting
  • Reconcile all analytical outputs back to source systems and financial data
  • Identify and improve gaps in accuracy, robustness and consistency of analysis
  • Post P&L accrual journals and support month end reporting
  • Ensure integrity, completeness and accuracy of financial information
