Job summary

Sharp & Carter is seeking a Finance Analyst in Melbourne to deliver insights, analysis and reporting that support business performance and executive decision-making. You will partner with commercial and operational teams to assist budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting.

You will consolidate monthly results, prepare board and leadership reports, and develop models to support planning and decision making.

Qualifications

• 3 - 5 years experience within a similar position.
• Experience within FMCG or manufacturing is preferable.
• CA or CPA Qualified (or working towards).
• Someone who enjoys asking questions, challenging the status quo and adding value.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate and report monthly performance result and commentary.

• Support the Annual Budget and long range strategic plan preparation.
• Coordinate the monthly forecast process.
• Develop and maintain models to support planning and decision making.
• Month End Journals.
• Investigate variance vs forecast and budget, provide commentary.
• SG&A Monthly reporting.
• Support Sustainability reporting.
