The Opportunity

We're seeking a highly capable FP&A Analyst to join our Finance team in Pyrmont, NSW.

This is a strategic role that provides consolidated financial reporting and analysis to senior stakeholders locally and to our Paris headquarters. You'll be working in the environmental services and sustainability industry, gaining holistic exposure across the business evaluating key financial and operational KPIs across the short term and longer term horizons.

What you'll be responsible for
  • Preparing monthly consolidated financial reports for Veolia ANZ management and Veolia's global headquarters in Paris
  • Supporting the annual budget process and periodic forecasting cycles with senior stakeholders
  • Delivering strategic financial insights to inform executive decision-making e.g. analysis on revenue drivers, variable and fixed costs, CAPEX, and capital employed across lines of business
  • Collaborating with the Business Intelligence team to automate and enhance reporting processes
What you'll need to be successful
  • University degree in Business, Commerce or Finance
  • Professional qualification (CA/CPA) or currently working towards one
  • 3-5 years' experience in finance, ideally with a large multinational or high volume business (e.g. manufacturing, retail, logistics). Commercial finance background highly desirable
  • Advanced Excel skills and ability to quickly learn systems (SAP, TM1, Tableau)
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to grasp financial concepts quickly and work collaboratively across teams
