Job summary

Global Medics is seeking a Psychiatry Registrar to provide cover within the Emergency Department of a major NSW hospital. You will work with the Mental Health team to assess and manage patients presenting with acute psychiatric emergencies in a high-volume ED setting.

Role runs 30 November 2026 to 31 January 2027, paying $140–$160 per hour plus super. Location is the Central Coast region of NSW, offering a coastal lifestyle and close access to services.

A major NSW hospital is seeking a Psychiatry Registrar to provide cover within the Emergency Department, supporting the assessment and management of patients presenting with acute mental health concerns.

Service Info

The Emergency Department Mental Health team provides comprehensive psychiatric assessment, risk management, crisis intervention, and referral pathways for patients requiring urgent mental health support. The multidisciplinary team works closely with inpatient and community services to ensure continuity of care.
