Lyra is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer who embeds with client startups to own workstreams from design to delivery, with the autonomy of a senior engineer and the backing of Australias strongest engineering bench.

Youll tackle moderate-to-high complexity projects, debug deeply in client systems, and ship drama-free launches while collaborating with top-tier teams. Hybrid work with access to our Barangaroo office supports a fast-paced, merit-driven path.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in a similar role at startups or software companies.
• High proficiency in full-stack engineering with Next.js/TypeScript and/or Python.
• Strong client-facing communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Based in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Embed directly with a client startup and take end-to-end ownership of a workstream.
• Own technical design for projects of moderate-to-high complexity.
• Debug deeply in the client's systems and ship drama-free launches.
