Job summary

Jaybro Group PTY LTD in Melbourne is seeking a Warehouse Operator to join the Altona team, offering a permanent full-time role with a 9am–5pm schedule Monday to Friday. Key requirements include at least 1 year in warehousing, a forklift license, ability to lift up to 20 kg, and a safety-first mindset.

Qualifications

• 1+ years' experience in warehousing and/or distribution.
• Forklift license is a must; experience with counterbalance and high reach is preferable
• Ability to lift and move products up to 20kg
• Competency in using warehouse management systems and basic computer literacy
• A strong commitment to safety practices
• Well organised with a proactive approach
• Energetic and sociable, capable of working within a tight-knit team

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack orders based on customer requests or internal requisitions.
• Receive incoming shipments of goods and materials, checking for accuracy and verifying the condition of the items.
• Safely and efficiently store goods and materials in designated locations within the warehouse.
• Prepare shipments for outbound delivery
• Loading and unloading goods using a forklift
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area
