B&R Recruitment Group is hiring a Forklift Operator/Production Machine Operator for a Penrith, NSW site. The role combines forklift movement with production and machine operating duties, with full training provided and consistent weekday hours.

The ideal candidate will hold a current forklift licence, have prior forklift experience, and be willing to perform manual handling tasks as part of a hands-on manufacturing environment. An immediate start is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Forklift Licence – essential.
• Previous forklift operating experience.
• Manufacturing, warehouse or production experience preferred.
• Willingness to operate machinery and assist with production work.
• Ability to perform regular manual handling tasks.
• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to move steel products and materials around the facility.
• Load, unload and relocate stock as required.
• Operate production machinery after training.
• Assist with manufacturing and general production duties.
• Monitor product quality and report any issues.
• Handle materials and complete manual handling tasks.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
