Job summary

Frontline Human Resources is currently seeking an experienced Forklift Operator with an MR Licence for ongoing casual work based in Dandenong South, Melbourne. The role offers afternoon shifts from 3pm to 12am, with Monday to Friday work and fortnightly RDOs, and great hourly rates starting from $46.84 per hour.

You will operate a counterbalance forklift, drive MR within the yard, and assist with loading/unloading and stock delivery.

Qualifications

• Must hold LF licence.
• Must have MR Licence.
• 2+ years' forklift experience.
• Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy items.
• Willing to participate in a pre-employment medical and urine drug and alcohol screen.
• Very safety conscious and able to adhere to policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate counterbalance forklift.
• Drive MR truck within the yard.
• Heavy lifting and movement of products/materials around the factory.
• Assist drivers on daily routes to safely deliver stock.
• Support loading/unloading of trucks.
• Complete additional ad hoc duties as required.

• Opportunities to advance to a permanent role after an initial ongoing casual period

Your daily duties will consist of:

• Operating counterbalance forklift
• Driving MR truck within the yard
• Heavy lifting
• Moving of products and materials around factory
• Assisting drivers on daily routes to safely and efficiently deliver stock
• Other ad hocduties as required

To be considered you must demonstrate the following:

• Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy items
• Assist drivers to efficiently load and unload trucks
• Holds valid LF licence
• Must have MR Licence
• 2+ years' recent forklift experience
• Willing to participate in a a pre-employment medical and urine drug and alcohol screen
• Very safety conscious and be able to adhere to company policies and procedures
