Job summary

Wismettac Asian Foods, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator to support warehouse operations in Brisbane. You will handle loading/unloading, packaging, and order preparation with RF scanning and strict safety adherence.

The role requires physical capability to lift heavy objects and operate in various warehouse zones, including cold storage. The position involves overtime and variable shifts, with opportunities to contribute to efficiency improvements and inventory control.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklift and pallet jacks.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Proficiency in reading/writing English and following instructions.

Responsibilities

• Package finished product for shipping (shrink wrap, box, label).
• Check orders to ensure correct assembly for delivery.
• Verify correct item counts during assembly.
• Assist in inventory maintenance and counts.
• Load finished product onto trucks and unload at designated areas.
• Ensure product quality and prevent damage before shipping.
• Operate forklift/pallet jacks and perform basic maintenance.
• Manage inventory movement within controlled locations.
• Prepare customer orders for delivery and wrap orders for shipment.
• Provide fill-in support for other warehouse departments.
• Adhere to safety standards and SOPs.
