Job summary

Frontline Human Resources seeks an experienced Forklift Operator / Team Leader for a busy Scoresby operation. This hands-on role combines forklift duties with leading a small team, coordinating daily workflows and ensuring targets are met.

The successful candidate will have a current LF forklift licence, proven leadership experience, and a proactive approach. SAP training is available; strong communication and reliability are essential.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to move, load and unload materials and stock.
• Lead, supervise and support team members in daily warehouse and operational activities.
• Coordinate workloads and ensure daily tasks are completed efficiently.
• Monitor team performance, productivity and work quality.
• Provide clear direction and support to team members.
• Maintain a safe, organised and efficient working environment.
• Assist with stock movements, material handling and inventory control.
• Complete relevant paperwork and system updates.

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:00am-3:30pm | Friday, 7:00am-12:00pm

Rate: $ 53+ per hour

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on professional who combines strong forklift operating skills with proven leadership experience. The successful candidate will be confident leading a team, coordinating daily workflows, and ensuring operational targets are met.

We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running, demonstrate initiative, and bring a reliable, committed approach to the role.

SAP experience is advantageous but not essential, as training can be provided. Strong leadership skills, reliability, and availability are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to move, load and unload materials and stock.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A current and valid LF forklift licence.
• Demonstrated experience operating a forklift in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production environment.
• Previous experience in a Team Leader, Supervisor, or senior operator role.
• Strong leadership skills and the confidence to manage and motivate a team.
• Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to work independently and take ownership of daily responsibilities.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn SAP.
• A reliable, proactive, and hands-on approach.
• Excellent attendance, reliability, and a strong commitment to the role.
