Job summary

Chandler Personnel in Footscray (Melbourne area) is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our busy warehouse team. You will load, unload and move stock using an LF forklift, and assist with stock control, receiving and dispatch.

This role requires following safety procedures, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting daily targets. Occasional freezer work in -25°C environments is expected, with most duties in ambient conditions and on-site parking available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of high-reach forklift operating experience.
• Current LF Forklift License (essential).
• Full Australian work rights.
• Previous warehouse or distribution experience.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate an LF forklift to load, unload, and move stock.
• Receive and dispatch goods accurately.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating an LF forklift to load, unload, and move stock
• Receiving and dispatching goods accurately
• Assisting with stock control and stocktakes
• Maintaining a clean and organised warehouse
• Following all safety and quality procedures
• Supporting the team to meet daily targets
• Assisting with unloading, loading, receivables, plant-to-plant transfers, and other general warehouse duties
• Occasional work in a -25°C freezer environment (PPE provided). The role will be primarily based in the ambient warehouse (approximately 80%), with freezer work required only occasionally

Requirements
