Job summary

Programmed / PERSOLKELLY – Forrestfield WA is offering casual Forklift Operator roles in their refrigerated area with AM and PM shifts.

You will load/unload, operate Electric 1.8T counterbalance/high reach forklifts, restrain loads, and work in cold storage environments. LF High Risk license and forklift experience are essential; weekend work may be required; great punctuality and time management are valued.

Qualifications

• Current LF High Risk Work license is required.
• Experience operating a forklift is essential.
• Logistics experience is advantageous.
• Flexibility with hours and weekend availability, if required.
• Excellent punctuality and time management.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and in a cold/freezer store.

Responsibilities

• Loading/unloading trucks, trailers, containers and rail wagons.
• Use of counterbalance and high reach forklift (Electric 1.8T).
• Restraining loads.
• Moving of awkward freight.
• Working in a cold/freezer store environment.
• Working in a safe manner.
