Job summary

Blacks Transport Townsville is seeking a reliable Forklift Driver to join our Townsville depot. This hands-on role involves loading and unloading general freight, moving freight safely around the depot, and supporting local and linehaul operations.

An LF Forklift Licence is essential; MR Licence is highly regarded. You will work in a busy depot with a team, focusing on safety, accuracy, and keeping the yard organised.

Qualifications

• Current LF Forklift Licence required.
• MR Licence highly regarded for depot movement tasks.
• Experience handling general freight preferred.
• Confidence in a busy depot environment.
• Strong attention to detail and safe work practices.
• Reliable, team‑oriented attitude.
• Comfortable working around trucks, trailers and freight movements.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading general freight.
• Moving freight safely throughout the depot.
• Supporting local and linehaul operations.
• Scanning and checking freight movements.
• General forklift and yard duties.
• Maintaining a safe, clean and organised depot.
• Moving trucks around the yard when required.
