Job summary

Centurion is seeking a Forklift Operator in Mackay on a 7/7 roster. The role involves operating various forklifts, handling general freight end-to-end, and ensuring loads are secured for dispatch. A current LF licence is required, with emphasis on accuracy in scanning and load restraint.

This is a full-time, on-site position with a strong safety culture and opportunities for ongoing training and career development on a national scale.

Qualifications

• Current Forklift Licence (LF).
• Experience handling and managing freight, or willingness to learn.
• Ability to take direction from management and supervisors.
• Preferred scanning experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate various sized counterbalance forklifts.
• Process general freight from beginning to end.
• Secure and restrain loads when required following the load restraint guide.
• Ensure all scanning is accurate and complete for freight in received, loaded, staged and unloaded functions.
• Prepare outgoing freight ensuring goods are secured and packed correctly for dispatch.
