Job summary

Foodlink Australia is seeking an experienced Forklift Driver to join our warehouse team on a full-time basis. You will operate a forklift to load pallets, move goods between areas and prepare outbound deliveries for trucks.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 5:00 AM to 2:00 PM with optional Saturday overtime. You must have a valid forklift licence, be reliable and safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Annual leave and sick leave entitlements are provided.

Qualifications

• Previous forklift driving experience - essential.
• Hold a valid forklift licence.
• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Experience with loading, unloading and warehouse pallet movements.
• Physically capable of performing warehouse duties.
• Good communication skills and a strong work ethic.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full working rights in Australia.
• Monday to Friday hours.
• Optional Saturday overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to load pallets onto Foodlink trucks during outbound operations.
• Organise pallets for outbound deliveries.
• Move pallets safely and efficiently from the warehouse to trucks.
• Ensure pallets are loaded correctly and securely.
• Work efficiently to ensure trucks are ready for their scheduled departures.
• Unload pallets from inbound delivery trucks using a forklift.
• Place pallets in the correct designated warehouse area (Frozen, Chiller, Dry Store, Fish Room).
• Ensure pallets are stored safely, correctly and efficiently.
• Keep warehouse areas organised and accessible.
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
