Golden Gates Nursery in Kenthurst, NSW is seeking an energetic Yard team member with forklift operator expertise to join a small, supportive team.

You will unload pallets from deliveries, place incoming stock throughout the Nursery, move stock as needed to protect plant health, and assist with general site maintenance.

Reliable, physically capable, and able to work outdoors in all weather will fit well in this family-owned business that values teamwork and flexibility.

Formación

• Forklift license required and forklift operation experience.
• Be able to work outdoors in all weather and lift plants.
• Own transport to Kenthurst site is required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

We are seeking an energetic and flexible team member to join our Yard team utilizing their Forklift Operator expertise and teamwork skills in a small supportive team environment.

Key responsibilities

• Unloading of pallets and racks of stock from incoming deliveries
• Placement of incoming stock throughout the Nursery
• Movement of stock within the Nursery to ensure proper plant health, including manual handling
• Assistance with general maintenance and care of the site

About you

• Like outdoor work and be prepared to work in all weather conditions
• Be reliable and enjoy working in a team environment
• Be physically capable, as some lifting of plants is required
• Have a valid forklift license and your own transport to our site in Kenthurst
• Be willing to learn plant names and varieties
• Possess excellent communication skills and be able to prioritize work
• Flexible attitude and a strong level of fitness
• Fantastic family friendly work environment
• Monday to Friday workdays for great work/life balance
• 1.30pm finish on Friday (usually) so you can start your weekends early
• Great variety in your work week from unloading/loading trucks to working throughout the Nursery as the need arises
