Job summary

CSR is seeking a manufacturing operator to join a dedicated team at our site. The role involves operating machinery to produce material to the required standard, reporting faults, and working safely on a rotating shift roster.

You will contribute to achieving production KPIs while maintaining high standards of housekeeping and safety. The ideal candidate has hands-on manufacturing experience, strong teamwork skills, and a solid commitment to health and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Operate machinery to ensure material is produced to standard.
  • Identify and report faults and maintain safe work practices.
  • Deliver on production KPIs and maintain logs
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks and cleaning.
  • Assist with quality inspections and housekeeping duties.

About the roles

In this role, you'll be part of a team of operators that are responsible for operating machinery to ensure material is produced to the commercial standard, identifying, and reporting faults and working in a safe manner.

Responsibilities include:
  • Engage the team to ensure the delivery of safe, low cost, efficient and high‑quality production
  • Deliver on production KPIs
  • Ensure appropriate communication and feedback is in place, including technical review and recommendation of machine / site running conditions
  • Complete routine maintenance tasks, such as high‑pressure cleaning, removal of waste material from pits, channels, and vessels
  • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping, including shovelling, sweeping, painting and vacuuming,
  • Test operation of machines periodically & fix issues that might occur during the shift
  • Maintain activity logs & carry out quality inspections
About you:
  • Hands‑on experience in manufacturing environments
  • Proven capacity to collaborate effectively within a team setting
  • Demonstrated aptitude for problem‑solving
  • Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal
  • Commitment to adhering to health and safety regulations, including consistent utilization of protective equipment
  • Excellent physical endurance and strength
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical education background preferred
  • Capability to operate a forklift – not essential
