Job summary

CSR, a leading Australian manufacturer, is seeking a Production Operator to safely operate manufacturing equipment and forklift machinery to support the production of Gyprock products in Brisbane. This permanent full-time role includes paid training, shift allowances, overtime opportunities and career progression across CSR brands.

Responsibilities

• Promoting and contributing to a strong safety-first culture
• Operating manufacturing equipment and production workstations
• Performing forklift operations to support production requirements
• Maintaining raw material supply to the production line
• Conducting quality checks in line with national testing requirements
• Monitoring and adjusting production processes to meet product specifications
• Recording production and quality data using CSR systems
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site
• Maintaining housekeeping and operational standards within the factory

About The Role

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will play an integral role in safely operating manufacturing equipment and forklift machinery to support the production of high-quality Gyprock products.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Promoting and contributing to a strong safety-first culture
• Operating manufacturing equipment and production workstations
• Performing forklift operations to support production requirements
• Maintaining raw material supply to the production line
• Conducting quality checks in line with national testing requirements
• Monitoring and adjusting production processes to meet product specifications
• Recording production and quality data using CSR systems
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site
• Maintaining housekeeping and operational standards within the factory

Shift Pattern

This role operates on a Monday to Friday rotating roster, requiring flexibility to work across all three shifts:

• Day Shift: 6:00am to 2:00pm
• Afternoon Shift: 2:00pm to 10:00pm
• Night Shift: 10:00pm to 6:00am
