Job summary

Stockwell International Pty Ltd in Brisbane is seeking an experienced Forklift Driver and Warehouse Operator to join our warehouse at Brisbane Airport. Early starts and overtime may apply.

You will load/unload trucks, prepare goods for dispatch, perform daily prestart safety checks, and keep stock accurate. Applicants must hold a current Queensland forklift licence, have warehouse experience, and be able to pass police checks and a medical.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience required.
• Current Queensland forklift licence required.
• Right to work in Australia.
• Ability to pass Police Check and medical exam.
• Ability to perform physical work and manual handling.
• Sound understanding of daily prestart safety checks.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and containers, check paperwork, and place goods in designated warehouse areas.
• Prepare goods for dispatch with proper packing, wrapping and labelling.
• Complete daily prestart and safety checks on all forklifts and equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and SWMS under Warehouse Manager guidance.
• Complete inventory checks and liaise with Warehouse Manager regarding discrepancies.
• Perform general warehouse duties as required.

Stockwells is looking for an experienced full-time Forklift Driver and Warehouse Operator located at our warehouse at Brisbane Airport. This position will require early morning starts and has the opportunity for overtime.

Key responsibilities

Loading and unloading of trucks and containers, checking paperwork and safely placing goods in designated warehouse racking or bays

Preparing goods for dispatch by ensuring goods are packed, wrapped and labelled to standard

Completing daily prestart and safety checks on all forklifts and equipment

Following safety procedures, SWMS and general direction by the Warehouse Manager

Complete inventory checks on stock and liaise with Warehouse Manager over any discrepancies

Any general warehouse duties as required

About you

Previous warehouse experience

A valid, current Queensland forklift licence

The right to work in Australia

Ability to pass a Police Check and a medical exam

An ability to perform physical work and manual handling safely, including lifting heavy items

A sound understanding of technology, including the ability to complete daily prestart safety checks

Attention to detail and a willingness to work collaboratively in a small team

Reliable and works safely when on-site
