ASTAR Recruitment in BERESFIELD NSW is seeking experienced Forklift Drivers (Counterbalance & HR) to join the team. Immediate start available with casual, flexible arrangements and competitive hourly rates. Work close to home in the Newcastle region.

Responsibilities include safely operating forklifts, inspecting equipment, recording stock movements, and supporting the warehouse team. Applicants should have at least 12 months of forklift experience and full Australian working rights.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months’ experience operating forklifts in warehouses or distribution centres.
• Knowledge of load restraints (ratchets/straps) preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Full Australian working rights.
• Availability Monday - Friday, full shifts.

About the Role:

As a Forklift Driver, you will play a key role in the warehouse and logistics operations, ensuring safe and efficient material handling operating both CB & HR forklifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate various forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, and unload products
• Perform routine equipment inspections and maintenance
• Accurately document all stock movements in the inventory management system
• Follow all workplace health and safety policies
• Support the warehouse team with general duties as needed

What We’re Looking For:
