Job summary

Wickham Freight Lines Pty is currently seeking a dedicated Forklift Driver for our Warwick Terminal, within the Warehouse. This permanent, full-time role operates on the afternoon shift from 1pm to 9pm. You will load transport vehicles, operate a forklift, and ensure correct stock storage and accurate paperwork to meet customer needs.

We value safety, teamwork, and reliability. A valid forklift licence/certification and proven experience are required, along with the ability to work to deadlines

Qualifications

• Valid forklift licence/certification and proven experience in a similar role.
• Hands-on with a can-do attitude and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines while adhering to safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Load transport vehicles, ensuring loads are evenly and securely placed
• Operate a forklift to lift, stack and unstack stock
• Store goods in the correct warehouse locations for easy retrieval
• Ensure paperwork is accurate to deliver stock to the correct customer
• Temperature control of freight
• Adhere to Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures

Job Description

Wickham Freight Lines is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Forklift Driver at our Warwick Terminal, within our Warehouse. This is a permanent, full-time position joining the team on our afternoon shift - 1pm to 9pm.

In this role, you will be responsible for the following:

• Load transport vehicles, ensuring loads are evenly and securely placed
• Operate a forklift to lift, stack and unstack stock
• Make sure goods are stored in the correct area of the Warehouse so they can be located easily
• Ensure all paperwork is correct and accurate to ensure the correct stock is delivered to the correct customer
• Temperature control of freight
• Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures

Desired Skills and Experience

• A valid forklift driving licence/certification with proven experience in a similar role
• You’ll need to be hands on with a 'can-do' attitude
• Ability to follow instructions to ensure work is completed in a timely manner
• Ability to work within a team environment
• Adhere to workplace safety requirements and use PPE correctlly at all times
• Ability to work within time constraints and meet deadlines
• Warehouse Assistant will require - Valid Forklift Licence
