Job summary

Apex Transport and Distribution in Altona VIC is seeking a Morning Shift forklift operator for a full-time, permanent role.

You must have a forklift licence, be experienced in loading/unloading road and rail units, and understand WHS requirements. Proficiency with load restraint, depot scanners, manifest creation, and freight scanning is essential. You must be physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks; a pre-employment medical including drug/alcohol testing is required.

You must have all 6 of the below to be considered:

• Forklift Licence (essential)

• Previous experience Loading/Unloading Road & Rail units

• A competent understanding of Work, Health, and Safetyrequirements

• Experienced in Load Restraint

• Experience using Depot Scanners, creating manifests and freight scanning

• ***Physically fit and able to do manual handling tasks
