Job summary

Orica Welshpool WA is seeking a Warehouse/Storeperson to ensure smooth, safe operations. You will manage inventory, receive goods, coordinate deliveries and support dispatch while maintaining accurate records and compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities include forklift operation, stock control, and collaboration with manufacturing and maintenance teams to keep materials available where needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehousing, stores, logistics, freight, inventory or materials handling.
• Current forklift licence with safe operating experience.
• Experience receiving, checking and distributing goods against PO and delivery docs.
• Solid understanding of warehouse operations, safe storage and manual handling.
• Strong attention to detail, organisation and safety-conscious approach.
• Basic computer skills with ERP or inventory systems exposure; manufacturing/industrial env. a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and verify incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery documentation, resolving or escalating discrepancies.
• Accurately receipt goods into the ERP system and coordinate deliveries to the appropriate teams across the site.
• Manage the storage, labelling and organisation of inventory, including stocktakes to maintain accurate stock levels.
• Safely operate forklifts to load, unload and move materials, equipment and freight throughout the facility.
• Maintain high standards of warehouse housekeeping, safe storage, materials handling and equipment checks.
• Prepare equipment for dispatch and support warehouse inspections, audits and continuous improvement activities.
