The position reports to senior management and offers a full-time, on-site role in a premium food manufacturing setting with a salary range of AUD 190,000–220,000 per year.

Formación

• Diploma in Food Technology required.
• 10+ years as QA Manager / Food Technical Manager.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with quality compliance in manufacturing.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain quality documents and reports.
• Promote good manufacturing practices in the workplace.
• Perform standard tests for flavour, colour, taste, texture and nutritional content.
• Work on compliance evaluation and quality control reports.
• Analyze and develop theories, techniques and processes; test reliability across conditions.
• Manage and develop practical applications of experimental findings.
• Provide advice on quality and compliance matters.
• Investigate and resolve quality issues; propose solutions.
• Assist in internal and external audits.
• Develop quality control procedures and safety standards for food manufacture.
• Conduct experiments to identify chemical composition and reactive properties of substances.

DUTIES

• Maintaining quality related documents and reports.
• Promoting good manufacturing practices in the workplace.
• Performing standard tests for flavour, colour, taste, texture and nutritional content
• Work on compliance evaluation and quality control report
• Analysing and conducting research to develop theories, techniques and processes, and testing the reliability of outcomes under different conditions
• Managing and developing practical applications of experimental and research findings
• Providing advice on quality and compliance related matters.
• Investigating and recommending solutions for quality issues that may arise.
• Assisting in internal and external audits.
• Developing quality control procedures and safety standards for the manufacture of food products
• Conducting experiments and tests to identify the chemical composition and reactive properties of natural substances and processed materials

REQUIRMENTS

• At least Diploma Qualification in Food Technology
• 10+ years of experience as Quality Assurance Manager/Food technical Manager
• Strong analytical and problems solving capabilities.
• Experience in quality compliance in a manufacturing environment.
• Sound knowledge of the Food Act, SQF, HACCP and GMPs.
• Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
