Qualifications

• Diploma qualification in Food Technology.
• 10+ years of experience as Quality Assurance Manager or Food Technical Manager.
• Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities.
• Experience in quality compliance in a manufacturing environment.
• Sound knowledge of the Food Act, SQF, HACCP and GMPs.
• Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining quality related documents and reports.
• Promoting good manufacturing practices in the workplace.
• Performing standard tests for flavour, colour, taste, texture and nutritional content.
• Work on compliance evaluation and quality control report.
• Analysing and conducting research to develop theories, techniques and processes, and testing the reliability of outcomes under different conditions.
• Managing and developing practical applications of experimental and research findings.
• Providing advice on quality and compliance related matters.
• Investigating and recommending solutions for quality issues that may arise.
• Assisting in internal and external audits.
• Developing quality control procedures and safety standards for the manufacture of food products.
• Conducting experiments and tests to identify the chemical composition and reactive properties of natural substances and processed materials.
