Job summary

Estia Health is seeking a friendly kitchen assistant to prep food, keep the kitchen clean, and help create meals for residents.

You’ll work as part of a compassionate team, with a focus on food safety, time management, and delivering a positive dining experience for our residents.

Qualifications

• You’ll be a real team player who has: a real desire to make a difference in people’s lives
• Experience in kitchen work (aged care is a bonus)
• Great time management and planning skills
• Completed the Basic Food Handling Course

Responsibilities

• Prep food and drink
• Cleaning (including dishes) – you bring a sparkle to the place in more ways than one
• Changing up the menu. You’ll work with our team and residents to create exciting meals that cater to every individual
• Keeping records as part of our Food Safety Program
• Being active and on your feet for most of your shift
