Job summary

Essential Recruitment & Consult – Campbellfield VIC is recruiting for a Production Worker to join a small team at their Campbellfield facility. The role runs on day shift from 6:30am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday, with initial training on early starts and potential later start times as site needs dictate.

You will load ingredients, weigh products, monitor machines, and perform packing and palletising duties while maintaining safety and accuracy. Previous food manufacturing experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in a production environment, food or pharmaceutical industries is advantageous.
• Attention to detail and accuracy with weighing and packing.
• Can understand written and verbal instructions clearly and work reliably.

Responsibilities

• Load ingredients into machines according to production requirements.

Join this small team as a Production Worker at their Campbellfield facility where they specialise in manufacturing plant based sausage casings.

Our client is seeking experienced food manufacturing operators and packers to commence on day shift with 6.30am starts.

The Shift:

• Monday to Friday 6:30am to 2:30pm

Duties will include:

• Loading ingredients into the machines as per production requirements.
• Weighing the product accurately.
• Monitoring and maintaining the machines operation.
• Manual handling duties which include lifting up to 19kg.
• Stacking products onto pallets.
• Packing products into boxes.
• Working with the production team to meet daily targets.

Requirements

To be successful in these roles you will:

• Have previous experience in a production environment, food or pharmaceutical industries would be highly regarded
• Have excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to understand instruction both written and verbal.
• Be reliable and hard-working.
• Be able to commence work Monday to Friday from 6.30am - 2.30pm for initial training, Once training is complete you may move later starts ranging from 10am - 12pm depending on site needs.
• Be physically fit and able to lift to 20kg
