Job summary

George Weston Foods is seeking reliable Process Workers for permanent full-time roles in Canberra, ACT. This hands-on position supports production, packaging and quality control in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment, with day and afternoon shifts and full training provided.

Ideal candidates will have a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and the ability to lift 15–20 kg, stand for long periods, and work safely.

Qualifications

• Able to work full time, on day and afternoon shifts.
• Willing to complete pre-employment checks including medical and drug/alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist on production line with packing and preparing products.
• Operate equipment with full training provided.
• Work with raw and cooked meat products in a temperature-controlled environment.
• Perform basic manual handling tasks including lifting and repetitive movements.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures.
• Collaborate with team to meet daily production targets.
