Job summary

The Kitchen Food Company is seeking a Food Process Operative to assist in preparation, cooking, packaging and quality control of food products in a fast-paced facility near Brisbane. You will follow GMP guidelines, ensure sanitation and safety, and help maintain production records.

Responsibilities include operating production machinery, preparing ingredients, packing finished goods, scanning for quality and assisting with inventory.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food production or manufacturing is a plus.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of sanitation practices within the food industry.
• Knowledge of food safety standards is desirable
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate food production machinery and equipment in compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and FDA regulations.
• Prepare ingredients according to recipes and production guidelines.
• Monitor the quality and consistency of food products.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the work area including tools and equipment.
• Follow all safety and health regulations, including proper food handling and storage.
• Pack and label finished products accurately.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and ingredients.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and maintain workflow efficiency.
• Read and understand production records
• Report any equipment malfunctions, people or food safety hazards immediately
