Job summary

Programmed is seeking experienced Machine Operators for our busy food manufacturing site in Wetherill Park. You will operate and monitor food machinery, perform quality checks, and ensure GMP standards are followed. The role requires a mechanical mindset and a strong emphasis on safety.

Shifts are 12 hours (6pm–6am), 3 days per week, with flexibility to cover additional shifts as needed. Full training is provided and this is a long-term opportunity with a national employer.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Machine Operator; food industry preferred.
• Physically fit and mechanically minded.
• High safety awareness.
• Own transport; site not accessible by public transport.
• Ability to work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor food machinery.
• Perform quality checks and maintain GMP standards.
• Identify and report production or safety issues.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues.
• Assist with manual handling tasks.
