As a Food and Beverage Supervisor in Nineteen Restaurant, your enthusiasm for creating unforgettable guest experiences will position you as a vital member of our leadership team, overseeing and assisting team members throughout their shifts. Your commitment to delivering top-notch customer service will be evident as you mentor and develop the team, while also providing insightful recommendations to enhance customer loyalty and satisfaction.

A few of your responsibilities

• Supervise the team on shift and assist with training, development and performance management
• Set daily performance objectives for the team and supervise the service flow and performance standards
• Ensure accurate cash handling procedures are followed
• Assist the Venue Manager to support achievement of financial and operational targets
• Ensure an open line of communication at all times through daily shift briefings, and ensure a smooth transition and handover between shifts
• Monitor the quality of food & beverages to service to ensure high standards are maintained
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of Nineteen's menu, wine list, and dining offerings, ensuring that your team can confidently guide guests through their culinary journey
• Ensure a high level of cleanliness and hygiene in the workplace and coordinate the maintenance and upkeep of all equipment and materials

What we will be looking for

• Experience in a high-end dining establishment, with a comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage service, including menu knowledge, wine pairing, and dining etiquette
• A passion for hospitality and a genuine desire to create memorable experiences for guests
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with guests, colleagues, and stakeholders
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and quality
• Current QLD RSA Statement of Attainment
